Easter Weekend

We had a really fun but extremely tiring Easter weekend. Friday was Pierogie Day for the Larricks and we ended up making 444 pierogies. Emma also got her picture taken making her first official pierogie at the tender age of 6 months!

She also got to meet and play with lots of cousins, and had a great time with Brody, Elliott, and Carrie's girls.

On Saturday, she got to meet more cousins from Paul's side of the family. Heather and Steve were in town with their little ones, Jack and Allison. By the end of the second day, Emma was played out! She could barely keep her eyes open.

Her first Easter proved pretty tiring for her too. We went to Pap-Pap's house first to drop off an Easter basket for Brody, and Emma got to play with him and watch him driving his motorized bike around the yard and blowing bubbles. Then we had Easter dinner at her Grandma and Granddad Pinchot's house with all of the family there. She looked adorable in her little Easter dress (if I do say so myself).

Crawling... and trying to Walk!

Emma is getting stronger by leaps and bounds! At the beginning of April, she started to crawl. She seems to do it only if she has to (she much prefers trying to walk), and it's funny because after she crawls a few paces, if she's anywhere near the object she wants, she simply stops and makes a dive for it!

She also started pulling herself up to a standing position, and she can stand on her own and balance - not holding on to anything! - for about 30 seconds at a stretch. She surprised the heck out of us when she did that! She also has the foot motions down pat and can walk all the way across the room if someone holds her hands. She hasn't ventured any steps yet on her own, but we think it won't be long before she tries.
